Daniel Negreanu

Daniel Negreanu is a Canadian professional poker player with four World of Series bracelets and two World Poker Tour Championship titles and was also winner of Cardplayer's of the year award for 2004. He is ranked second in the all-time career earnings list behing Phil Ivey, a great poker player. The total of his earnings in tournament are about 12 millions but he had also a lot of earnings on online poker. In 2008, Negreanu's book Power Hold'em Strategy was released. I bought this book and this is a very good book to improve my strategy of poker with the «small ball» strategy of Daniel Negreanu. This book is about the strategy of Negreanu but also about 5 others chapters with 5 different poker player. The five others chapters are strategy for novice player, cash games, playing online, heads-up cash games and mixing it up.

Montreal Canadiens

This summer, Bob Gainey changed more than the half of the Montreal Canadiens. He did not sign the captain Saku Koivu, the star Alex Kovalev, our futur captain Mike Komirarek, some quebecers like Francis Bouillon, Patrice Brisebois, Alex Tanguay and he traded Chris Higgins. My first reaction was what is going on?! With a very small payroll salary, he attacked the market of unrestricted free agent. He signed a lot of small offensive player, Mike Cammalerri, Brian Gionta, Scott Gomez, some toughness player as Travis Moen and Paul Mara and he signed some players to have a very good defense as Jaroslav Spacek , Marc-André Bergeron and Hal Gill. This is a big deal because the salary of Scott Gomez was of 8 millions by season, Mike Cammalerri 5 millions and Brian Gionta 5 millions too for many years and the fans will be very critical if the team cannot win. We did the playoff with a miserable point in overtime against one of the worst team in the NHL the Toronto Maple Leafs. It was hard to te moral but in the first round we won against the best team in the NHL, Washington Capitals. In second round, yesterday we won against the Stanley Cup Championship, the Pittsburgh Penguins in 7 games.

Now the dream could be realised with the first cup since 1993 with Patrick Roy in the net but this years it's with Saint-Jaroslav.

Nhl cap salary cap

In the NHL, the upper limit of the salary cap is 57 millions and the lower limit is 41 millions. This year 13 teams exceed the salary cap as Chicago Blackhawks, Vancouver Canucks, Washington Capitals and Calgary Flames. This difference is not fair for many teams, Columbus Blues Jackets has a cap payroll of 43 millions and Chicago Blackhawks has 61 millions of cap payroll. So this is very difficult to compete with a team like Chicago because they have more than 18 millions of player salary in their team that Columbus. This is a big difference when we know that a star player have a salary of 6 to 8 millions by season. The difference of 18 millions is about 3 good players in a bad team.

Ana Ivanovic

Ana Ivanovic, a great tennis player, French Open tennis champion, extended her agreement with German sportswear brand Adidas AG for te rest of her tennis career and beyond. She signed with Adidas in 2006. She will become an ambassador for Adidas even after she retires of tennis court. Ivanovic also has sponsorships with Yonex Co., Rolex, Verano Motors, Technogym and Juice Plus, Holzmann's food- nutrition company. She has made more than $7 million in prize money in her career. Ivanovic won one grand slam in is career. After she was in first position in the rnaking, she had a lot of injuries and she id dropped out of the top 20 of WTA tour rankings.

The Toyota recalls

The United States industry rebounded in January but with one exception Toyota. The company lost around 20 000 sales in only one month after it stopped to sell eight models because there is a problem with the gas pedal. The Toyota sales slipped 16 percent and it could be more if they stop to sell their car in February. It was the first time that Toyota's monthly U.S sales fell bellow 100 000 vehicles. With the problem of Toyotathe top selling car in the US last month the Toyota Camry is now at the fifth rank in car sales. Toyota recalled eight models including the Camry because the accelerator could stick and cause a crash. In USA, this is 2,3 millions of vehicles in the recall they include Corolla and Avalon cars, the Matrix hatchback, the Tundra pickup, the Sequoia SUV and the RAV4 and Highlander.
